Read the grading method- 01Large buys
- Purchases of $100,000 or more. A dollar threshold keeps the focus on the amount invested.
- 02Cluster buying
- At least two different insiders buying the same company within seven days.
- 03First recorded buys
- The first purchase by that insider in that ticker in the bot’s database. Not necessarily their first ever.
- 04Notable sales
- CEO or CFO sales of $1 million or more. Scheduled trades and same-day option exercises are labeled, not automatically excluded.

How the points add up
- Role (highest applicable)
- CEO, CFO, President, or Chair +3; other officer or director +2; 10% owner +1.
- Transaction value
- At least $1 million +2; otherwise at least $250,000 +1.
- Reported holding change
- At least 25%, or a new reported holding, +2; otherwise at least 10% +1. Calculated within the reported holding only; omitted for joint-owner filings.
- Cluster buying
- Two or more insiders buying the same ticker in seven days +2.
- Purchase history
- +1 for no prior buys in at least five checked historical filings, or for at least two prior purchase dates. Applied only to purchases with a single reporting owner when history is available.
- Qualifiers
- A disclosed Rule 10b5-1 plan −2. An option exercise paired with a same-day sale −3.
History may arrive after the initial alert and update its grade. Sales can receive high grades too: a grade is not a bullish or bearish recommendation.
What the data can—and can’t—tell you
“First-time-buyer” means first recorded in our database, which started in August 2026. The premium history check examines up to ten recent Form 4 filings; it is not a complete lifetime record.
Quotes are best effort, cached for ten minutes, and may be delayed or unavailable. Filings can be late or contain errors. Form 4/A amendments get separate correction notices. We link an original only when the match is unambiguous; corrections are not new trades. Always check the source and footnotes.
Why a filing alert isn’t a real-time trade alert
An alert starts with a public filing, not a live brokerage transaction. Most reportable insider transactions must be filed within two business days, and some arrive later. Each alert includes the trade date and filing delay.

Can I control the notifications?
Yes. Use /notifications to choose instant DMs, a daily digest, or off.
Filter by ticker, purchases or sales, minimum grade, and amount. Set quiet hours in
your time zone. These settings control bot DMs; channel notifications stay in your
Discord settings.
How do I know the service is running?
Open #service-status or use /status to see the latest
successful filing check, confirmed alert delivery, and pending queue. A quiet market
can mean no alerts; the check timestamp should still advance.
Do I need to install anything?
No bot setup or separate app is needed. Join with your Discord account and the bot activates your seven-day trial. Discord works in a browser or its own app.
What happens after the seven days?
Your trial role expires and the alert channels and ticker tools require a paid subscription. You can stay in the community. We do not charge you or start a subscription automatically. Joining again does not reset the trial.
How do I upgrade or cancel?
The trial needs no card. To continue, run /subscribe for a checkout link
tied to your Discord account. Premium is $5 USD per month, billed through Stripe.
Billing starts when you complete checkout, even if trial time remains. Use
/billing for your private Stripe portal: manage payment details,
invoices, or cancel at the end of your paid period. Contact the owner if you need
help.
I paid. Why can’t I see the premium channel?
Make sure you’re using the same Discord account that ran /subscribe. The
role is granted after Stripe confirms checkout. If access hasn’t appeared after a few
minutes, contact the server owner in Discord. Don’t submit another payment.
Why are there no new alerts right now?
The bot only posts new filings that meet its filters. Quiet periods, weekends, and holidays can have no qualifying alerts. Service interruptions can also delay delivery; timing is not guaranteed.
Is this investment advice?
No. This is a way to organize public SEC filings for your own research. Insider activity and signal grades do not predict returns or tell you to buy or sell. The service is independent of the SEC.
